Each time you look at a tangerine, you can see deeply into it. You can see everything in the universe in one tangerine. When you peel it and smell it, it’s wonderful. You can take your time eating a tangerine and be very happy. Thich Nhat Hanh

White Christmas... sort of
Right after we got our tree this afternoon, it started to snow. Unlike this morning's dusting where the flakes were almost invisible, this was the real deal. We had about 15 minutes of big, beautiful flakes. For us, that's practically a snow storm.
J and Toe took the opportunity to have a light saber battle and Toe tried to scrape together some snow balls for a snow ball fight. It was incredible how hard he was willing to try. He made snowballs the size of superballs - wet and slushy. His aim is actually getting pretty good.
When the snow stopped, we brought out the bubble maker he got in Disneyland to see if it was cold enough for the bubbles to freeze. It wasn't, but the boy had a great afternoon in the back yard anyway.
